Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and FridgeChef for the use of FridgeChef. By using FridgeChef you agree to them.

The service

FridgeChef uses AI to identify ingredients in photos you provide and to suggest recipes. The free plan includes 3 scans per calendar month. We may change features or limits with reasonable notice.

AI suggestions and food safety

Ingredient detection and recipes are generated automatically and can be wrong. You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, use-by dates and dietary suitability, and for cooking food safely (for example cooking meat, fish and eggs thoroughly). FridgeChef is not medical or nutritional advice.

Accounts

Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use FridgeChef. Do not misuse the service, for example by trying to bypass plan limits, uploading unlawful content or overloading our systems.

FridgeChef Pro

• Pro is a subscription billed in advance at $6.99 per month or $69.90 per year (or a discounted price shown at checkout), plus any applicable taxes.
• It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• If something goes wrong, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate. Statutory rights in your country are not affected.
• We will tell you in advance about price changes, which apply from your next billing period.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and lists you submit. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service. Recipes generated for you are yours to use.

Disclaimer and liability

FridgeChef is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using FridgeChef and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protections.
